On March 3rd, all partners could attend the seminar on ethics on the internet, having as guests Mariana Augusto.
Mariana Augusto is a Ph.D. student in
Communication Sciences at the University of Minho and is currently developing
research, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology - FCT, on the
relationship between Public Media Service and Media Literacy, focusing on the
Portuguese public television, RTP. She as completed her Master's in
Communication Sciences - Communication, Television, and Film in 2018 at the
Catholic University of Portugal. Also focusing on the theme of Public Media
Service, her dissertation, entitled "The formative contents in the
programming grids of RTP 2 (2003 to 2017)", was approved with distinction
(Summa cum Laude). She has a degree in Journalism from the Federal
University of Rio Grande do Norte, and her end-of-course work was the
production of the book Memories of Potiguar Print Journalism which presented
profiles of journalists who worked in the newsrooms of printed newspapers in
the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte between 1960 and 2010.
